Join us this summer in our country setting of gardens and wild fields and woodlands for two rich, fascinating, and vitally practical 2-day workshops during which master herbalist and naturopath Mary Light offers wisdom from her 18 year practice.  Registration for these workshops is open now, and will close at the date indicated for each workshop.  Questions?  We welcome them at 734-769-7794

FLOWER ESSENCES- A Dance with Consciousness
June 19 and 20, 915 a.m. until 5 p.m.      $250
During this weekend, we experience flower essences by choosing flowers to make them, decanting and bottling the resulting mother tinctures, communicating with nature intelligences to understand the role of each vibrational essence in health, learning to test ourselves and others for essences, and discussing an overview of some flower essence systems.  The Bach, Perelandra, and our own Gaialand flower essences traditions are brought forth for examination.  We will attune to nature, using meditative practices, journaling, and intuition to refine our connection to the messages of nature.  This workshop closes for registration on June 4; it is necessary to register in advance for this workshop.
Participants will take home a stock bottle of each of the essences the group produces- the number of bottles depends on the size of the group, which would range from 4-18 people.
 

 WOMANCARE - Making herbal medicines for Women's health and wellness.   August 7 and 8, 915 a.m. - 5 p.m.

A variety of plants are therapeutically valuable to women - the trick is knowing how to fully utilize them, how to make and administer medicines and natural therapeutics from herbs, and how to take this wisdom forward in life.  We will learn about, explore, and make in a hands-on setting several items for the home apothecary, while discussing the interrelated body systems each therapeutic nourishes and addresses.  Applications for reproductive system health and healing, nervous system rejuvenation, release from pharmaceuticals, orthopedic care, and increasing vitality are of highest importance to women today, and will be addressed in a practical manner in this 2 day workshop.
